Anthony Charles Coqueran, 71 years old, a longtime resident of Tarrytown, NY, passed away at The New Jewish Home, Sarah Neuman, in Mamaroneck, NY, on the afternoon of May 10, 2025.
Anthony attended St. Teresa of Avila Parochial School and he was a member of St. Teresa Avila Church in Sleepy Hollow. He was a graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School ’73. Anthony was an integral member of the 1972 Sleepy Hollow High School “Horsemen” Football Team that recorded a 9-0 undefeated season while capturing the Northern Westchester Interscholastic League New York State Section 1-A Championship. Anthony’s teammates affectionately nicknamed him “Moose” for his strong play on the field.
After graduating from Sleepy Hollow High School, Anthony moved to Florida where he remained until 2008, when he returned to his hometown of Tarrytown.
Upon his passing Anthony Coqueran resided in Ossining, NY.
Anthony was predeceased by his mother Alyce Coqueran, father Albert Coqueran, Sr. and his sister Alice Coqueran, as well as his grandmother and grandfather Selina and Percival Charles and Aunt and Uncle Eldra and Walter Teagle.
He is survived by his brother Albert Coqueran, Jr. and sisters Dr. Adrienne Coqueran (Jimmie Howard), Aurette DeCuffa (Dennis), Angela Coqueran, Arnelle Coqueran Ullrich and Karen Booth (Petra Strand).
He is also survived by his nephew Adam Johnson and nieces Aisha Coqueran, Kirsten Robinson, Jordan DeCuffa, Jillian MacDonald (Hannah) and Selina Ullrich, as well as great nephews Adam Johnson, Jr., Hudson MacDonald and great niece Olivia Johnson. He is also survived by first cousins Clara and William Teagle and cousins the Hersh and Alexander Families and Gayle and Joseph Hardy.

Driving south make a right turn from Mamaroneck Avenue onto East Post Road.
There is paid Parking about 30 yards from Mamaroneck Avenue on the right across the street from White Plains Vision Care.
Also, on the left there is a driveway between the Arthur Murray Dance Studio and the FedEx Office. Just make a left into the driveway and find paid parking behind Cantina Restaurant."
