Anselmo Morelli

Anselmo Morelli of Tarrytown died peacefully on October 6, 2021 at the age of 80. Born in Italy on November 5, 1940, he was the son of Domenico and Grazia Spennati Morelli.

Anselmo came to the United States and settled in Tarrytown where he and his wife Elisa (Spagnoli) raised their family.

He worked at General Motors for many years. In his retirement he enjoyed gardening and caring for his home.

He was a member of Local 664 on the United Auto Workers Union and had been a member of ITALO.

Anselmo’s wife Elisa predeceased him in 2017. He is survived by his daughter Graziella and sons Domenick and Aldo. He was also predeceased by his brothers Guido and Silvano.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Friday from 4PM to 6PM. His Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday at 10:00 followed by interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery
