Anna Ida Campa, nee Marrapodi, longtime resident of Hartsdale, NY passed away on May 24, 2025. She was 84 years old. A woman of profound faith, exceptional intelligence, and boundless love for her family and community, Anna is survived by five children and six grandchildren, even while she is reunited with those who pre-deceased her including four children, her parents and her older brother.

Born in Tarrytown to Italian immigrants, Anselmo Marrapodi and Carmela LaCamera, Anna inherited their resilience, creativity, and dedication. She attended Our Lady of Victory School in Tarrytown, where she nurtured her love for learning—a passion that remained with her throughout her life. In her career at AT&T, where she worked as a clerk in White Plains, NY, she demonstrated dedication, skill, and professionalism, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

Her heart was always with her family and her faith. As a devoted mother to Mario, Lily, Silvia, Mark, Claudia, Frank and Michael, she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She was an exceptional cook, finding joy in preparing favorite meals and hosting family gatherings filled with laughter and love. Her home was a place of warmth—a sanctuary where everyone felt welcome. Her capacity for love only increased with the arrival of her grandchildren, TJ, Nicole, Danny, Andrew, Christopher and Matthew.

Her unwavering devotion to the Catholic Church was reflected in everything she did. She served as a Eucharistic Minister, and as a lector for many years at Sacred Heart Church in Hartsdale.

Today, though we grieve her passing, we also give thanks for the time we were blessed to share with her. She has returned to the embrace of our Lord, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, in the lessons she taught, and in the love that will never fade.

Services will be as follows:

Visitation at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown, NY, Thursday, 5/29/2025 from 4pm – 8pm.

Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hartsdale, NY, Friday, 5/30/2025 at 9:30am.

Interment immediately following the funeral mass at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
