Alfredo 'Tello' Rodriguez Obituary
Alfred Rodriguez aka Tello passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 3, 2026 at 91 years old. Born in Guayos, Cuba on January 10, 1935, he was the son of Cecilio and Maria (Capote) Rodriguez. He came to the US in 1957. He went back to Cuba and married the love of his life, Carmen Rodriguez as he had promised. The couple then returned to New York and he lived his whole life in North Tarrytown now Sleepy Hollow.
He retired after a long career with Kraft General Foods in Tarrytown.
Tello was a loving husband, an amazing father and a hard-working man. The love for his family was beautiful.
He is survived by his loving daughter Maria (Alexander) Hart and his granddaughter Bianca who was his princess. He is also survived by a sister. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Carmen and three siblings.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3PM to 8PM. His Funeral Mass will be at Transfiguration Church on Thursday at 10:30 followed by interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
