Violet R. Paretti

Violet R. Paretti, a longtime Tarrytown resident died April 8, 2019 with her family by her side. She was 88. Born in Bronx, NY on November 22, 1930, she was the daughter of Andrew and Isabel Ciotti Paretti.

Violet earned a Master’s Degree and held administrative positions at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital and the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY where she retired as CFO.

Violet had a very large and loving family and she is survived by her sisters Louise Mundy and Gioia Cipriani, her dear cousin Isabel Ciotti, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her loving caregiver and friend Ia Grigalshvili. She was predeceased by her brother Andrew ‘Buddy’ Paretti and his wife Mary and her brothers-in-law Earle Mundy and Paul Cipriani.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4PM to 8PM. Her Funeral Mass will be on Thursday at 10:30 at Transfiguration Church with interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
