Sara (Schwalbe) Faraone

Sara Faraone a resident of Tarrytown for almost 40 years died October 30, 2019 at the age of 71. Born in the Bronx on August 20, 1948, she was the daughter of David Leon and Pauline Bella (Barland) Schwalbe.

Sara had been a teacher with the New York City Board of Education for over 26 years when she retired. She was an avid reader who also loved to swim and travel.

In 1974, she married Neal Faraone in White Plains. She is survived by Neal as well as her daughter Elisabeth Tiffany Faraone Carpenter. She is also survived by her brother Bernie Schwalbe.
