Rosemarie A. DuVal

Rosemarie DuVal of Sleepy Hollow died November 16, 2018 at the age of 85. She was the daughter of Rose M. (Goodwin) DuVal and George D. DuVal, Sr. She was raised in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY and Dobbs Ferry, NY. At the age of 10 the family moved to Yonkers, NY where she lived until 1995, moving to Sleepy Hollow, NY.

She is survived by 2 sons, George R. Vreeland, Jr. of Tarrytown and Thomas J. Vreeland of Monroe, NY. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary DuVal from Woodlawn, NY as well as many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, a brother George D. DuVal, Jr. 1976, former husband George R. Vreeland, Sr., 2008 and sister-in-law Evelyn Doherty of Yonkers, 2018.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4PM to 8PM. Her Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday at 10:30 at Transfiguration Church followed by entombment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
