Rita (Iarossi) Brady

Rita Brady, a longtime resident of Hartsdale, died May 28, 2017 at the age of 87. Rita was born in the Bronx on February 13, 1930 and was the daughter of Raffaele and Mary Marone Iarossi.

On May 1, 1948, she married Oscar ‘Jack’ Brady in North Carolina. Rita and Jack left the city for the ‘country’ and settled in Hartsdale over 50 years ago. Family was the most important thing to Rita and she is survived by her son Scott (Patty) of Cumming, GA and her daughter-in-law Mary Brady of Tarrytown. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He husband Jack died in 1996 and her son Ralph died in 2012. She was also predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Edward Iarossi.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Thursday from 7PM to 9PM. There will be no other services at this time.
