Martha Jean (Henderson) Falasca

Martha Jean Falasca formerly of East Irvington, died January 22, 2019 at the age of 90. Born in Laurens, SC on June 9, 1928, she was the daughter of Ernest and Martha Jean Henderson.

Martha Jean was married to Joseph E. Falasca. She and Joe raised their family in East Irvington. They then retired to Key West, FL where they lived for about 30 years. Martha lived in Gunnison, CO for the past 7 years.

Martha will be remembered for her love of her family. She also loved flowers of all kinds, her teddy bears and most of all, she loved to fish.  She was a member of the Daughters of the Eastern Star and the D.A.R.

Martha is survived by her children Joseph Falasca of Ohio City, CO and Catherine Wells of Milledge, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Joseph Falasca, II, Barbara Nyarady, Frederick Vacca and Michael Vacca as well as her 8 great grandchildren. Her husband Joseph predeceased her in 2010.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4PM to 8PM at Coffey Funeral Home where services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00AM.
