Maria Ruivo Obituary

Maria Vieira Ruivo, a resident of Sleepy Hollow died November 6, 2019 at the age of 95. Born in Nariz, Aveiro, Portugal on January 20, 1924, she was the daughter of Fortunato Martins Vieira and Clementina Vieira.

Maria worked at Marymount College for many years.

She was married to Manuel Martins Ruivo who predeceased her. She is survived by her loving children Ana Maria Viegas, Dulce Lopez and Arlindo Ruivo. Also surviving are her 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Friday from 4PM to 8PM. Her Funeral Mass will be at St. Teresa of Avila Church on Saturday at 9:30 AM. She will be buried in Palhaca, Portugal with her husband.
