Joseph S. Festa

Joseph S. Festa a longtime resident of Irvington died September 19, 2019 at the age of 67. Born in North Tarrytown on July 5, 1952, he was the son of Dominick and Doreen Mason Festa.

Joseph was a proud American and a dedicated employee of The Town of Greenburgh Water Department for 30 years. He loved nature, being outdoors, metal-detecting, animals, astronomy and history. Most of all, he loved and cherished his family and the time they spent together. He will always be remembered by family and friends as a man of incredible strength and genuine kindness. His sense of humor, warm heart, generous soul, curiosity and love of adventure will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Donna Marie and his cherished daughters Jenna (David) Jacobsen of Tarrytown and Joette (Justin) Catarino of Irvington and his beloved grandchildren Nicholas and Eric Jacobsen. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Reich.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4PM to 8PM at Coffey Funeral Home where services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 followed by interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
