Jorge R. Alvarez

Jorge R. Alvarez, a longtime resident of Tarrytown died December 7, 2017 after a long illness. He was 60. Jorge was born in Ecuador on April 11, 1957 and was the son of Carlos Alvarez and Celia Perez.

Jorge came to the United States in 1979. He had been a chef and worked for many years at Gaulin’s Restaurant which was in Elmsford.

He is survived by his loving wife Blanca Brito Alvarez and his loving children Liz Alvarez, Stacy Alvarez Pezzino and Jorge A. Alvarez. He was also the loving grandfather of three. Jorge is also survived by two sisters and four brothers.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
