John J. Fragiacomo

John J. Fragiacomo of Wilmington, NC passed away peacefully on September 29, 2018. He was born in Tarrytown, NY on February 28, 1939. John was married to Nancy (Green) Fragiacomo for 58 years. He served in the National Guard, was owner of John F. Como Drywall Contracting and a member of Tarrytown FD Riverside Hose Co. Engine 80. He retired to Wilmington, NC with his wife to spend more time fishing and golfing.

John is survived by his wife, Nancy, daughters: Ellen Ruggiero (predeceased by son-in-law, Anthony) of Tarrytown, Wendy (Michael) Duke of Wilmington, NC and Jona (Douglas) Dean of Sleepy Hollow. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Bobby, Andrea, Kevin, Erica, Jaime, Shane and his brother, Leo. John was predeceased by his brothers Thomas and Bruno. He leaves behind many good friends, both old and new. 

Visitation will be Friday, October 26th from 4-7 pm at Coffey Funeral Home. His funeral mass will be Saturday, October 27th at 11 am at The Church of The Magdalene in Pocantico Hills, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice which provided warm, caring support to John and his family.
