Grace L. (Gross) Seminara

Grace L. Seminara, a lifelong resident of Sleepy Hollow died peacefully at home on June 14, 2017. She was 95. Grace was born in Tarrytown on September 24, 1921 to John and Lucy Brady Gross. Grace was a graduate of North Tarrytown High School. In 1945, she married Fortunato (Fred) Seminara in North Tarrytown. She had worked at P.R. Mallory for many years.

Grace had been a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Ladies Auxiliary of Rescue Hose of the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department.  

She is survived by her daughter Grace Brennan of Brockton, MA and her son Fred Seminara of Lexington, NC. Also surviving is Terry Brennan, her loving granddaughter and care giver as well as 6 other grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1985 and her daughter Ann Rose. She was also predeceased by her longtime companion Tony Ranieri.

A Graveside Service will be on Monday at 10:00 AM at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. There will not be any visiting hours.
