Gloria (Alvarez) Astudillo

Gloria Astudillo, a longtime resident of Tarrytown died June 23, 2018 at the age of 94. Gloria was born in Cuba on March 15, 1924 and was the daughter of Luciano and Luisa Delgado Alvarez. She left Cuba for the United States in 1966 and settled in Queens, NY. In 1974, she relocated to North Tarrytown and later Tarrytown.

Gloria will be remembered as a happy, lively and loving woman who loved being surrounded by her family. She will be missed dearly by her loving daughter Adis (Frank) Fazzino and her beloved grandchildren Melissa (Carlos) Simbana, Michelle Fazzino and Frank Fazzino, Jr. Also surviving are her cherished great grandchildren Ariela and Luca Simbana. She was predeceased by her husband Jose in 2008.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5PM to 9 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday at Transfiguration Church at 10:30 and interment will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
