Gertrude 'Trudy' (Sheerin) Hrotko

Gertrude (Trudy) Hrotko, a longtime resident of Sleepy Hollow, passed away on June 7th, 2019 at the age of 86.

Trudy was born in Flatbush Brooklyn to the late William and Gertrude (Frawley) Sheerin. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Frank Hrotko, son Frank (Kim), daughter Susan, brother Jerome, 3 grandchildren, Frank, Tara (Alex), and Danielle and 3 great grandchildren, Talex, Greyson, and Zander.  Trudy was predeceased by her siblings, Norma, Rita, Eugene, Raymond, William, and John. 

Trudy was a member of the Sleepy Hollow Seniors, Neighborhood House and Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

The family will be present at Coffey Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 11th 2019 from 3pm to 7pm.  A prayer service at Coffey Funeral Home will be held on Wednesday June 12th 2019 at 10:30am with interment to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
