Genevieve E. (Kaleta) Adamovic

Genevieve E. Adamovic a longtime resident of Sleepy Hollow died February 24, 2019 at the age of 98. Born on January 4, 1921 in Nova Lubovna, Czechoslovakia, she was the youngest child of Thomas and Ludmila Kaleta.

As a young woman, she left her home and came to the United States settling in North Tarrytown. She was married to Paul Adamovic.

 Genevieve was a devoted parishioner of Holy Cross Church and she had been a member of the Ladies National Sokol Lodge in North Tarrytown.

She is survived by her son Peter (Mary) Adamovic of Irvington and her grandson Paul of TN. She was predeceased by her husband Paul and her daughter Genevieve (Jenny) as well as her brother Stephen Kaleta and her siblings in Europe.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Sunday from 3PM to 7PM. Her Funeral Mass will be on Monday at 10:00 at Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington with interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
