Frances C. (Rodriguez) Bustamante

Frances C.  Bustamante of Sleepy Hollow died peacefully on July 10, 2019 at the age of 87. Frances was born in Cuba on June 4, 1932. She was one of 12 children born to Norberto and Maria Rita Hernandez Rodriguez.

Frances and her husband Orlando left Cuba in 1963 and came to Tarrytown. They settled in North Tarrytown where she has lived ever since.

She was a wonderful seamstress. She enjoyed sewing everything from the simplest repairs to dresses of all kinds. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Church.

Frances will be remembered as a very friendly woman who loved her family.

She is survived by her loving husband Orlando and her devoted daughters Rita (Phil) Scott and Grace (John) Williams. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Rita (Teddy) Ricciardella, Olivia Feldman, Christopher Williams, Sophie Feldman and Preston Williams and her precious great granddaughter Mariella Ricciardella as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Friday from 4PM to 8PM. Her Funeral Mass will be at St. Teresa of Avila Church on Saturday at 10:00 with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
