Concetta 'Connie' (Squitieri) Sorlingas

Concetta ‘Connie’ Sorlingas of Tarrytown died peacefully on February 8, 2019 at the age of 99. Connie had been living in Cedar Manor Care Center for several years.

Connie was born in the Bronx on October 26, 1919 and was the daughter of Vincent and Josephine Caputo Squitieri. She was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School. She had been a secretary for Gimbel’s Department Store in Yonkers and later at Marymount College in Tarrytown. She was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church and also attended Transfiguration Church.

She was married to William Sorlingas who predeceased her in 1975.

Connie is survived by six nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4PM to 8PM. Her Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Church on Wednesday at 10:00 with interment to follow in Kensico Cemetery.
