Barbara (Bobbie) Chamberlain Lockard, 91, a life-long resident of Sleepy Hollow, NY, or as she liked to say North Tarrytown passed over peacefully on 04 June 2019. She was born in Tarrytown Hospital on 25 Oct 1927. She was the daughter of Daniel Lee and Mary Ellen (Kenney) Chamberlain. Bobbie loved and enjoyed family and friends, music, dancing, animals, lakes, fishing, ocean beaches, spending time at Jack’s camp in the Poconos and the Hawaiian Islands.
For many years Bobbie worked as an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor at St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains, NY.
She is survived by her children Joan Hughes (Greg) Yarmouth, ME, James Lockard Athens, NY, Lynn Lockard (Scott Williamson) Patterson, NY, Kathleen Collins (Ernie) West Suffield, CT, Daniel Lockard Sleepy Hollow, NY as well as her grandchildren Amy Suchanek-Vacca (Kevin), Andrew Hughes, Katelyn Lavoie, and Kerry Winfield and her great grandchildren Logan, Callan, Ophelia, and Madeleine. Bobbie was predeceased by her parents, 2 young brothers, Aunt Frances Kenney, Jack Kelly, partner and love of her life 9/20/16, and other family members.
Visitation will be at the Coffey Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 11th from 6pm – 8pm. Bobbie will be buried with her family in the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
