Samuel B. McBride, of Eustis, Fl. and formerly of North Tarrytown, died on January 13, 2010. He was 83.

Mr. McBride was born on September 28, 1926 to Samuel and Jessie Bell McBride in White Plains. He was a graduate of White Plains High School. Mr. McBride was retired from the Westchester County Parkway Police Department.  He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He is survived by his wife Joan of Eustis Fl. He is also survived by his daughter Dona Roberts of Longwood Fl. as well as his 5 sons: James of Patterson, NY, Randall of Pleasantville, Kevin of Valencia, Ca., Jeffrey of Lake Peekskill, and Timothy of Sleepy Hollow. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and was predeceased by his brother James.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at COFFEY FUNERAL HOME in Tarrytown. His Funeral Service will be held at the Union Church of Pocantico Hills on Tuesday at 11 AM. His interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
