Stephen Pesick, a longtime Irvington resident died March 7, 2010 at the age of 75. Born in Yonkers on July 14, 1934, he was the son of Stephen and Anna Koteletz Pesick. Stephen was a graduate of Saunders High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and went on to have a 24 year career with the City of White Plains Police Department. He retired as a Detective. He was a member of the White Plains PBA.

On November 12, 1960, he married Margaret Kolarich in Holy Cross Church in N. Tarrytown.

Stephen is survived by his wife Margaret and his children: Denise Brady of Putnam Valley, Stephen of Carmel, Susan Pesick of Carmel and Nancy Fay of Lake Carmel as well as his grandchildren Matthew and Michael Brady, Lauren and Scott Pesick and Ryan and Stephen Fay. He is also survived by his brother Ronald of Yonkers and his sister Barbara O’Neill of Yonkers. He was predeceased by his sisters Mary Ann Doyle and Eleanore Pesick and his brother Richard.

Visitation will be Monday (today) at COFFEY FUNERAL HOME from 4 – 8 PM. His Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington at 10:00 with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his name to Immaculate Conception Church 16 N. Broadway Irvington, NY 10533 would be appreciated.
