Richard A. Singer

Richard A. Singer, a longtime resident of Irvington died June 29, 2015 at the age of 65. He was born in Tarrytown on May 19, 1950 and was the son of Paul and Antonia Neuwirth Singer. Richard graduated from St. Theresa’s School, Stepinac High School and Fairfield University.

Richard and his family were longtime parishioners of Holy Cross Church and he served as an Altar Boy at St. Theresa’s Church. Richard remained active with Stepinac and enjoyed being involved with their theater group.

Richard is survived by his brother Paul of Sleepy Hollow; his niece Tara (Jason) Platt of Hopewell Junction and his grandnephews Jakob and Lukas Platt. He is also survived by his uncle Stephen Karac as well as many cousins.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Thursday from 4PM to 8PM. His Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:00 at St. Teresa of Avila Church with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
