Raymond R Gori

Raymond R. Gori passed away on February 10, 2018 at the age of 80. Born in Brooklyn, NY on January 12, 1938, he was the son of Amleto and Mary Ambrosini Gori.

Ray served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1958. Ray earned a Master’s Degree in Physics and went on to teach Physics at Wilby High School in Waterbury, CT for many years.

In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling around the country to visit and spend time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters Maria (Louis) Valenta and Brenda (Joseph) Garzi and his son Raymond Gori (Barbara Losier). Also surviving are his grandchildren Caitlin (Robert Dalton) Garzi, Michael (Sarah) Garzi, Raymond Gori, Sean Gori, Alexandra Valenta, Andrew Gori and Adrianna Valenta as well as his great grandson Dante Gori. He is also survived by his brother Edward Gori and his sister Gail Rocco. He was predeceased by his brothers Ronald, Donald and Robert Gori.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Saturday February 17 from 2PM to 6PM.
