Nat J. Weinberg

Nat J. Weinberg, a resident of Tarrytown, passed away after a long illness on
October 17, 2015 at the age of 91. Nat was born in the Bronx on Dec 4, 1923
to Sophie and Sol Weinberg. He served proudly in the U.S. Air Force as a
pilot during WWII, and later had a career as a commercial pilot. Nat
enjoyed building and flying radio-controlled model airplanes, was a member
of the Westchester Radio Aero Modelers, and had an interest in military
aircraft history. After his retirement, he enjoyed sailing on the Hudson
River and was an avid reader and sports fan. Nat is survived by his loving
wife of 60 years, Isabelle, with whom he had two daughters, Sandra, living
in Holland, and June, who predeceased him. Nat is also survived by
grandchildren David and Jessie, and three great-grandchildren. A memorial
service will be announced at a future date.
