Matthew L. Birrittella

Matthew L. Birrittella of Nanuet and formerly Tarrytown died February 18, 2018 at the age of 58. Born in North Tarrytown on July 22, 1959, he was the son on Michael and Helen Riker Birrittella. Matt graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School and the University of Florida. He went on to join his family operating Birrittella’s Bakery.

Matt was a lively, fun-loving person who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Maryellen, his children Lyle and Natalie, his brothers Michael, Marty, Mark, Mitchell, Myles, Meredith and their families and his girlfriend Carla.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4PM to 8PM. His Funeral Mass will be at Transfiguration Church on Wednesday at 10:30. Interment will be private.
