Mary (Tuck) Gordon

Mary Elizabeth Gordon of Tarrytown, New York passed away peaceful on June 12, 2016 after a long illness at the age of 68 in her residence in Tarrytown, N.Y.  She was born Mary Tuck on March 25, 1948 in Clarksville, Virginia to her late parents Robert Tuck & Dorothy Mae Tuck (Small).

She was married to her late husband Samuel Gordon for 40 years.

Mary was a mother figure for all that knew her. She had one biological son Jason Hull with her first husband Jake Hull (deceased).

Mrs. Gordon had a fulfilling career as a Teacher’s Aide at St. Jude’s working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She was a private caretaker for many years.

She is survived by a loving family and her son Jason Hull of Yonkers, N.Y., her grandchildren Jason, Jr., Dante, Adrian, Brandon and Courtney and 2 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brothers Robert Tuck & Frankie Tuck, and her sister Lelia “Ducky” Whitney (Tuck) all of New York, her sister Cathy Johnson of California, her stepchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, great-great nieces & nephews and a host of friends.  She was predeceased by her sisters Ernestine “Tina” Tuck and Claudia Tuck (Dessasure).

Visitation and Services will be held at Coffey Funeral home at 11a.m. Her burial site will be at Kensico Cemetery in The Garden of the Apostles at 2p.m.
