Martin Kavicky

Martin Kavicky, a lifelong resident of Sleepy Hollow died February 8, 2016 in the same house in which he was born on November 22, 1925. Martin was the son of Samuel and Mary Margetjak Kavicky

After graduation from North Tarrytown High School, Martin served on the United States Army from 1944 to 1946. After the war he went to work for Westchester Medical Center in the maintenance department until he retired.

 Martin is survived by his niece Judie (David) Doyle of Croton and his nephew Thomas (Susan) Mezger of Wappingers Falls as well as his grandnieces and nephew Stephanie, Cory and Katrina and his great grandnieces and nephew Samantha, Jayden and Gisella. He was predeceased by his sister Katherine Mezger and brother Samuel Kavicky.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Coffey Funeral Home where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
