Jae G. (Gurrieri) Lucero

Jae G. Lucero, a lifelong resident of the Tarrytowns died January 14, 2017. Jae died just two weeks short of her 102nd birthday. Born January 25, 1915 in North Tarrytown, she was the daughter of Frank and Maria Gurrieri.  

Jae had been a member of the Tarrytown Seniors and the Tarrytown Canteen of the Neighborhood House. She was a parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Church and had been a member of the Catholic Daughters.

Jae’s only daughter Dolores Dove predeceased her. She is survived by her son-in-law Harold Dove, her 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her niece Violet Zelyez.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with her Funeral Mass to follow at St. Teresa of Avila Church at 11:30. Interment will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tarrytown Seniors would be appreciated.
