I was so saddened to hear of Jack's passing. What a really great guy! I knew him 40 or 50 years ago, when he had the drugstore in Tarrytown. Reminiscing with friends on Facebook and thought of him. Discovered this news. My condolences to those close to him and especially his husband of 35 years. He was bigger than life. Your loss must be a difficult one.

My deepest Jack,
The light goes back to the light. You were a ray of sunshine in our lives. Now that you have left this earth, we will see your light when we look up to the heavens.
Time and space will never erase 32 years of friendship, sharing and wonderful memories, you, Ralph, Ronnie and I experienced together. Those years will forever be embedded in my heart. You will be greatly missed as you were greatly loved.
To our friend and brother Ralph, than you for giving Jack all you love and a life of caring and companionship until the end. Know that Ronnie and I will always be there for you. You are part of us, and will always be.

I've met jack a few times as an adult and have some memories of him as a little child. He was my grandmother's best friend for many years and my parents had their wedding reception at his restaurant. He flew in for my aunt Claudia's funeral and was a huge comfort to my grandmother affectionately known as "trudy". I know he is reunited in heaven with her. my deepest condolences to his husband and partner Ralph, whom I had the pleasure of speaking with at the wake. I pray the pain lessens in time I'm so sorry for your loss. Jack May you rest in peace surrounded by angels ,from all the old stories I heard you were larger than life and lived that life tp the fullest. God bless .

Hulsey, 52 years ago we became friends. In no time at all, we became brothers.
You were there for me always; in the good times and the challenging ones. We shared a lifelong friendship without equal. Together, we lived decades of unforgettable moments which we would revisit every time we got together. We shared each other's triumphs as well as tribulations. I know the soul behind the flesh. And it's a beautiful one. You are my brother. Will always be. I will have you present in my heart and mind, until we meet again to relive our lives and eternal friendship in spirit.
Your forever friend and brother, Ronnie

We said we'd walk together baby come what may
That come the twilight should we lose our way
If as we're walking a hand should slip free
I'll wait for you
And should I fall behind
Wait for me
We swore we'd travel darlin' side by side
We'd help each other stay in stride
But each lover's steps fall so differently
But I'll wait for you
And if I should fall behind
Wait for me
Now everyone dreams of love lasting and true
Oh, but you and I know what this world can do
So let's make our steps clear that the other may see
I'll wait for you
And if I should fall behind
Wait for me
Now there's a beautiful river in the valley ahead
There 'neath the oak's bough soon we will be wed
Should we lose each other in the shadow of the evening trees
I'll wait for you
Should I fall behind
Wait for me
Darlin' I'll wait for you
Should I fall behind
Wait for me
Yeah, I'll wait for you
Should I fall behind
Wait for me
I'll wait for you
Should I fall behind
Wait for me
