Irma Del Monaco

Irma Di Mascio Del Monaco, a longtime Tarrytown resident died January 18, 2016 at the age of 84. She was born on January 31, 1931 in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Italy to Frank and Louisa Di Mascio. On February 16, 1958, she married Raffaele Del Monaco in Italy and they came to the United States in 1966.

Irma was a seamstress for John Charles, LTD in Tarrytown for many years.

Irma is survived by her loving husband Raffaele, her children Regina (Joseph) Tucci, Peter (Suzanne) Del Monaco and James (Diane) Del Monaco. Also surviving are her grandchildren Ashley Nicole, Peter Michael, John Joseph, Briana, Alyssa, Gabriella and Nicholas and her great grandson Mason Anthony. She is also survived by her brothers Americo and Silvano Di Mascio and her sister Dora Del Monaco. She was predeceased by her sisters Gina Di Mascio and Elvira Centofanti and her brother John Di Mascio.

Visitation will be on Thursday at Coffey Funeral Home from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 with entombment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
