Judge Henry J. Logan passed away Tuesday evening, March 15, 2016, in Palm Beach, Florida. He died peacefully of natural causes.
Henry was born and raised in Sleepy Hollow, NY, educated at Georgetown University and Georgetown Law School, and was a member of the New York and Florida Bar Associations. He was an Air Force Intelligence/OSS Officer, practiced law in White Plains and Palm Beach, was a Mt. Pleasant Town Court Judge, and served as Westchester County Attorney from 1984-1988. Henry was a volunteer fireman in Westchester County and a member of various civic, fraternal and religious organizations, including the Knights Templar, English Speaking Union and the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick (serving as president of the Westchester chapter from 1992-1993).
Son of Henry and Helen Logan, he was married to Elizabeth Hughes, and is survived by his six children, Susan, Henry, Beth, Nancy, Peter and Patty, and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home, Tarrytown, NY on Tuesday March 22 from 4-8 PM. His Funeral Mass will be at St. Theresa of Avila Church 130 Beekman Avenue Sleepy Hollow on Wednesday 10am with burial to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
