Frankye Lee, a resident of Tarrytown, New York, departed this life on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Tarrytown Hall Care Center.
Frankye was born April 2, 1932 in Eatonton Georgia to Louise V. Hayes. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta Georgia and then married Willie Lee Jr.
Frankye is survived by her son William Lee, her two grandchildren Nikki Lee and Robert Lee Smith III, her sister Lillian Hayes, and a host of cousins and friends.
Frankye was pre-deceased by her husband Willie Lee Jr., her mother Louise V. Hayes, and her daughter June Lee.
Frankye worked for the Village of Tarrytown and the Westchester County Department of Corrections, where she later retired.
Upon arriving in Tarrytown, Frankye joined Foster Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, where she was a member of the Choir, Home Missions, Missionaries, Ushers, Lay Council, Stewardess, Pastors Aide, Conference Delegate, Altar Guild, and faithfully worked with the kitchen staff.
And, we all know Frankye as an avid bingo connoisseur.
