Fernando L. Ferreira

Fernando L. Ferreira, a resident of Sleepy Hollow died October 22, 2017 at the age of 72.

Fernando was born in Portugal on August 31, 1945 to Antonio and Maria Dos Anjos Ferreira. He immigrated to the United States and settled in the Tarrytowns. He was retired from the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns where he had been a custodian.

Fernando is survived by his children Jorge (Daniella) Ferreira and Teresa (Sergio) Ferreira as well as his granddaughters Gabriella, Alexandra, Juliana and Sara. His loving wife Lucia predeceased him in 2008.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4PM to 8PM. His Funeral Mass will be on Thursday at St. Teresa of Avila Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
