Belinda V. De Mesa

Belinda V. De Mesa of Yonkers died August 5, 2016 after a long illness. She was 63 years old. Born on June 11, 1953 in New York City, she was the daughter of John and Helen Bracey De Mesa.

Belinda had been a Collections Representative for a mortgage company until she retired.

She will always be remembered as a fun-loving woman who was full of energy. She had a vibrant personality and loved to dance. She loved being around people and loved to socialize. If there was a party, she was there.

Belinda is survived by her daughters Dinesha (Charles) Simpson, Nicole De Mesa (John Rivera) and LaShanda De Mesa. Also surviving is her grandson Ajani Najee, her brother John De Mesa and her sister Cecelia De Mesa. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Bruce and her sister Benita De Mesa Bacot.

Visitation will be on Wednesday at Coffey Funeral Home from 4PM to 8PM. Her Funeral Mass will be on Thursday at 10:00 at Immaculate Conception Church 199 North Broadway Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings.
