Angelo Mosca

Angelo Mosca, a longtime resident of Tarrytown died April 25, 2016 at the age of 80. Angelo was born in Assergi, Abruzzsi, Italy on March 21, 1936 and was the son of Enrico and Domenica Giampaoli Mosca. He came to the United States as a young man in 1955.
Angelo was retired after working for many years for the County of Westchester, specializing in Air Conditioning maintenance. He got great pleasure from making homemade wine and sausage and could always be found tending to his vegetable garden.
Angelo loved his family and was happiest when surrounded by them. He is survived by his loving wife Paola (Alloggia) and his loving children Mimma and Mario (Marisa) as well as his grandsons Michael and Matthew whom he adored. He loved being Nonno Angelo. He is also survived by his brother Antonio and his wife Agata as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are 2 uncles and an aunt in Canada and Italy.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. His Funeral Mass will be at Transfiguration Church on Friday at 10:00 with entombment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
