Agnes (Herrion) Martin

Agnes Martin, a longtime Tarrytown resident died January 5, 2016. She was 87.

Mrs. Martin was born on May 22, 1928 to Charles and Helen Girvan Herrion in Yonkers. She worked for many years as the secretary at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown. She was an active member of the Tarrytown Seniors as well as the Transfiguration Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband Roger W. Martin on January 3, 2014.

She is survived by her son Roger W. Martin Jr. of New Fairfield, CT and her daughter Ellen Martin of Niskayuna, NY. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren Kristin, Kelly, Katie and Christopher Martin.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at COFFEY FUNERAL HOME in Tarrytown. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown. Her interment follows at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
